We opened The 3rd BluWater Bistro location in the Leschi neighborhood on March 13, 2004. Mick McHugh handed the reigns over to us after 22 successful years of running the Leschi Lake Café. With a slight remodel we cozy'd up the place, added some fantastic rollback windows, high back booths, some flat screen TV's, and leather furniture by the fireplace. The menu reflects all the goodness that a cozy bistro should offer, including the ever famous & popular "Lake Side Café" Fish and Chips... gotta keep the neighborhood happy. Stop in for some brunch on the weekends or some late night food.

An understated storefront hides a coveted skyline view—just one of the many ways you could underestimate this longtime cafe on Mount Baker’s main drag. The menu, the sign—even the name—are a bit of a throwback, but current owners Guy Devillier and David Hoefer took over in 2018 and keep things attuned to today. Carbonara packs more nuance than you might expect, the slightly crackly pizza’s better than it has to be, and the bar pours lambrusco and negroni. Loved the food and the presentation, Would have enjoyed more goat cheese with my beet salad. Having 1 Tablespoon of goat cheese left me wanting more. Bolognese was incredible Having the option for adding parm would have been great! Tomato soup was a star! Coffee was also great (from a coffee snob). Wished I would've asked for a to go cup on this cold winter day.

Absolutely loved every single dish we got. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while, and as a group of four, we got to try a lot of things. Great drinks, great atmosphere. I definitely plan on coming back!
