Joule, the first restaurant from celebrated husband and wife cooking team Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi, is re-located in October, 2012 to the innovative, newly developed the Fremont Collective in Seattle’s Wallingford/Fremont neighborhood. Wonderful venue to celebrate a special occasion (like a spouse’s birthday)! Service is top-notch and the food is nicely prepared & presented. This couple shared one appetizer, one small plate, the sturgeon entree, and a key lime pie—very satisfying! Do request bread for dipping into the sauce if you get the mussels.

This dining experience was novel and a joy. The chef combined flavors creating tastes we had never had before. Sometimes it was a bit overwhelming (like the garlic on the Chinese broccoli), but we were glad we had ordered it and after pushing the garlic aside, ate every bite. Try the octopus -- absolutely delicious and not at all like the typical calamari you get in local restaurants. Our server was very cordial, had a great sense of humor, and increased our enjoyment.
