Our waitress was wonderful. The restaurant was full and she never stopped moving and was always gracious. The golden beet salad is delicious. The deep dish pizzas make you eat one slice too many because it’s so good! Nice beer, wine and cocktail selection.

The Rancho Bernardo Inn has extensive, beautiful grounds. The Christmas brunch was a gorgeous spread with many delicious offerings. The open bar flowed freely. Brunch for 6 people cost $1047.

We have been to Carvers many times. Outstanding service and food. Prices a little heavy on certain items but not a deal breaker. The restaurant has a great ambiance...not too big and not too small. Very comfortable decor and surroundings. One complaint this time around. I had a beautiful looking Peppercorn topped NY Steak but it had major area of tough chewing. I didn't complain because what I DID eat, was very tasty and tender. Plus, it was Christmas Eve and I didn't want to bring up any negatives. We'll definitely be back...but I just won't have the steak. Sometimes there are stumbling blocks to complete satisfaction. They have other superior items on the menu from A to Z. Until next time.... We loved our time here this weekend! It wasn’t very busy, so our group of 9 had plenty of room to sit. It wasn’t very loud. The ambiance of the restaurant was great, good staff and the food was good! Highly recommend this place!
