Continental cuisine (with a little love for Latin) has come to College Plaza, Randolph. The Vargas family (brothers Harold and Oscar and cousin Willy) combine decades of restaurant expertise to present the freshest, healthiest, highest quality selections available. Fine diners in Randolph and beyond appreciate the Vargas family'sfocus on the food. Warm woods, intimate booths and interesting decor create a welcoming, serene ambiance. A ceramic-tiled waterfall adds soothing sounds and an outdoor patio offers an alternative atmosphere for guests. Diners are welcome to bring their own wine; kept chilled by the table or for reds, within reach of the wait staff. The menu includes an array of perfectly grilled steaks, fresh seafood, Italian-inspired pastas, interesting appetizers, soups, salads and warm homemade bread. The Grain House Restaurant is located on the picturesque 10-acre estate of the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ. The Grain House structure was originally built as a barn in the 1760’s and was used to store grain for American Revolutionary soldiers. The barn was later moved to its current location and opened as a restaurant in the 1930’s. Today, the Grain House is a renowned restaurant in North/Central New Jersey, with a comfortable, casual ambiance. The restaurant serves innovative, traditional and contemporary interpretations of American cuisine with some added international accents, prepared under the direction of Executive Chef John Benjamin. Delicious homemade desserts complete the menus, which are revised several times a year. Outdoor patio dining and fireside dining are available in season.The restaurant offers lunch and dinner daily, as well as a special breakfast/lunch a la carte menu offered on Saturdays from 11 am to 4pm. Sunday 11am to 3 pm.
