The Plumed Horse Restaurant has been a beacon of South Bay fine dining since 1952. Led by Executive Chef Peter Armellino, it is a destination for those travelling to visit, yet retains its landmark status as a place to relax, unwind, enjoy, and indulge for locals. With a European feel, many of our guests proclaim that they have been whisked away to Italy or France. We love that! Many accolades from the SF Chronicle, and the Mercury News as well as Eater SF hail Chef Yvonne and her team at Polenteria for being on the cutting edge of the Gluten Free Movement, and more importantly providing a safe space for those with Celiac to dine without hesitation. Great food and service! Hush puppies are so yummy! Avo toast, burrata toast, cheeseboard, gulf shrimp, ahi poke - all stellar! Drinks were good too - I had the special that day with hibiscus - have forgotten the name. Our server was knowledgeable and steered me away from sweet drinks which I didn’t want..

Greeted by the host who remembered us from last week! Delicious brunch - French toast and bacon and loaded omelette (large enough to feed three people). The Expresso Martini was to die for! We’ll continue to return to try more brunch dishes!

We used to go there all the time and stopped going about 8-9 months ago. Last time we were there the bartender was rude…. So we stopped going. We decided to give it another try, the bar area is very nice….and ….We had a great time, cocktails were great and portions were good size and bartenders were exceptional!!! If you haven’t been in awhile go…

We have been to many steak houses and I will say this was one of the best steaks we have had. This was our annual family Christmas Eve dinner and we were pleasantly surprised at the food. Since this is more Italian, wasn't sure what the steaks would be like. Has the calamari, artichoke, lobster ravioli and clam chowder as an appetizer and all were awesome. Staff was attentive and very good. Highly recommend for dinner. Thank you all and Merry Christmas
