Casual waterfront dining right on the docks of the Patchogue River, The Oar serves up fresh and delicious steaks and seafood. Chefs prepare specialties like coconut shrimp, 36 oz sizzling prime porterhouse, lobster quesadillas and fresh Bluepoint oysters and little clams which are delivered daily. Two dining rooms are decorated in traditional nautical style. The chops experience is something much more than going out to dinner. It is a true evening out. The service is amazing. The ambience is just top notch. I really can't compare any other experience to what Jobs has to offer. It is well worth every penny will always come back for more.

Throughly enjoyed our dinner with dear friends. We appreciate the owner and her daughter/chef came over to chat with us after dinner. It is my second time dining at Sunflower and will be back and will well recommend! Fish done to perfection, Everything we had was outstanding..mussels with an amazing curry sauce, filet mignon, cod over lemon risotto, filet of sole, soups, oysters, pate..and a perfect wine selection. Bravo!
