Yalla is a neighborhood Mediterranean smokehouse from the Sesame Collective restaurant group. Opened in summer of 2020, Yalla brings a Mediterranean smokehouse to the heart of the Multnomah Village neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. With a menu of smoked meats, seasonal vegetables, and comfort dishes, Yalla is currently open for delivery, take out, and full service dining. When it comes to taste-buds tingling cuisines, Burma has a lot to offer. It has been a passionate dream for Burma-born owners Kalvin and Poe to open a Burmese restaurant to be able to share their culinary culture. That dream came true in 2019 when Top Burmese opened as a virtual takeout only restaurant from a commissary kitchen in NW Portland.     Party of 7 placed at a large round that could handle a party of 10. There at peak dinner time. Sat a while before asked about drinks but from there service was outstanding. Food came hot and quick. Ordered apps and meals, no dessert. Everyone enjoyed their food. From classic to spicy...and they can do spicy. Noise level made it challenging for conversation across the large table. Seats were comfy.

    A new place to check off of our list! What a great experience! Dillon was our amazing server and did an incredible job! The place was busy from the moment we got in to the moment we left. A very small dining space but absolutely worth it. The food was excellent! I highly recommend this little place. From the outside it looks like a hole in the wall but the experience was wonderful! Thanks so much for our great dining experience!
