This cozy, eclectic restaurant quickly became a destination for those who appreciated Chef Davin’s creative approach to celebrating local and responsibly sourced fish and produce. In addition to a set sushi menu, Wrench offers an omakase as well as a list of specials that change daily. The team is committed to reducing waste and enhancing flavor by elevating all cuts of fish and veggies, as well as featuring a diverse range of species. Many menu items are simple, fresh and creative, with a lesser-known fish species complimented by ingredients from the backyard garden.     Excellent night out! We started with drinks at the bar and Colin was our bartender. The drinks were excellent and he was so kind. At the table we had Victoria and Harold. Both were attentive and awesome! The sommelier made an excellent recommendation for a bottle of wine. And the food was delicious and beautiful! Highly recommend! We will be back! Great date night!!

    Most amazing birthday meal tonight. The server was so attentive and made sure we all knew how the menu worked and how to have the best experience. The broccoli was the number 1 at our table followed by the chicken dish and the market fish. The s’mores dessert was so fun and delicious as well! Everything 10/10, worth the wait for a reservation.

    WE FOUND IT!! The best sushi in San Diego is in this tiny strip mall in Carlsbad!!! The rolls are huge and extremely creative. The fish is so fresh. And the flavors are amazing. Get this. You will not have to dip these s rolls in your soy n wasabi mix!!! They r extremely flavorful on their own.
