So you ask why Wanda Byob? Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad. What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft. I now want to share what I've learned with all of you in a place I can call my own.With the help of my wonderfully supportive wife, Gilda and my wonderful family behind me, I look forward to what's to come. I took my mother to Redstone for an early bird Thanksgiving dinner. It exceeded our expectations. The food was perfectly prepared, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy & festive. The buffet was well stocked and mom could have as much stuffing and gravy that her heart (and belly) desired. Although busy, it wasn't obnoxiously crowded or loud. We'll definitely be back for Thanksgiving next year and several times in between!

Food and service was good and would go back. Our chicken Parmesan came with carrots and sweet potatoes instead of pasta. No whipped potatoes with Turkey dinner.
