Joule, the first restaurant from celebrated husband and wife cooking team Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi, is re-located in October, 2012 to the innovative, newly developed the Fremont Collective in Seattle’s Wallingford/Fremont neighborhood. From its original opening in 2007, Joule has cultivated a loyal dining fan base and captured the attention of an admiring local and national media captivated by the couple’s unique, modern perspective on Korean cuisine. Joule, the mature sibling to Yang and Chirchi’s restaurant, Revel, highlights Korea’s love of beef featuring unconventional cuts accompanied by distinctive and shareable side dishes.Joule takes reservations for 1.75-3 hour time slots (depending on party size). We do our best to accommodate as many guests as possible and ask that you are considerate of other diners at the end of your meal. We have 15 indoor tables, and 12 covered/heated patio tables. Online reservations can be made for parties up to 5 guests. Larger groups can be booked at 5pm on weeknights, please email the restaurant for reservations. Please understand when making your reservation that we cannot guarantee a specific table or area of the restaurant. We recommend 5pm reservations for parties with specific table requests, if you book later in the evening you may need to wait for your table preference.If you are having difficulty finding a reservation you are welcome to stop by for walk-in seating.     It's hard to have a bad meal at Joule, where you can safely order anything on the menu and know it will be delicious. Classics like the chorizo rice cakes paired well with new dishes like the roasted asparagus. Cocktails were very tasty as well

    The food was excellent. The flavor combinations of each course were well thought out and I love how they source food locally. Service was fabulous as well. We went for our anniversary and it was truly a special evening.

    We moved out of town 7 years ago, when this was a favorite brunch/lunch spot. Coming back for a long weekend, we couldn't resist trying it. Still yummy food. Same fun, neighborhood cafe/bar atmosphere. And also importantly, same great service. Some menu items have changed, but it's still extensive, and focused on freshly made food. The waffle with cheddar and bacon was excellent. Will be coming back when next in Seattle area.
