We asked for a quieter table-almost impossible at the Bistro in season, but they accomplished it by seating us at a table in the hotel lobby - BRILLIANT! The soft live music was an added bonus!

The Kitchen serves exquisitely prepared food- and the ambiance was serene, cozy and architecturally interesting. Lots of energetic diners. We had the three day pork shank with kimchi, pita etc- just the right balance of moist tender meat, and a seasoned crust- every bite was a perfect bite. Also had the King Salmon w lentils and labneh. Delicious. And the Branzino was amazing. Not enough room to talk about the other items we ordered- all amazing.

Literally the best pork chop in JHole. Service was wonderful and attentive. Very cool vibe. But I couldn’t give them 5 stars bc they allowed a very large dog into the restaurant and watching this dog being fed scraps from the table was unappealing - to say the least. (And no this was not a service dog.) For a meal that expensive, one shouldn’t have to share it with a dog IMHO.

Our meal was extraordinary, with every member of our party expressing that they were blown away by the quality, flavor, and composition of their food. Our french-speaking server was exceptional, a true gentleman who made our experience a 10/10! We hope to return and would enthusiastically recommend the Whistling Grizzly!
