We are an eclectic Los Angeles restaurant, located in Koreatown, heralded for its creativity and genre-defying cuisine. Their first restaurant together, owners Lien Ta and Chef Jonathan Whitener opened Here's Looking At You in 2016. Named a "Restaurant of the Year" by Food & Wine Magazine and one of Eater National's "38 Most Essential Restaurants," HLAY was also the subject of author Patric Kuh's "Becoming a Restaurateur." After four magical years as a small independent restaurant, COVID-19 would force its forever closure. But 17 months later, fate would have it that the community would come together to help resurrect this very special restaurant. Thanks to you, Here's Looking At You is back.

Gjelina is a restaurant specializing in New American cuisine. Open every day from 8 a.m. until 11pm, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner.     Our service person was acceptional . Myhfriend who is a gourmet cook asked many questions about the ingredients of each entree. She knew it all.we had butternut squash with figs was delicious. my friend had Bece with pepper and cheese. He agreed it was far better than his. We shared the Caesar salad which was very different than any other Caesar salad I’ve ever had. Amazing! For desert we ordered pastry stuffed with apples and a side of ice cream and a chocolate dessert I don’t remember the name. I give Osteria mozza five stars in every area .

    Calabro is our favorite brunch anywhere in the Los Angeles area, and today was another perfect experience. Omar and Jose took great care of us at the table. The service was fast, professional, and friendly. Food was hot and well- seasoned and beautifully arranged on the plate. Every time I go, I leave feeling relaxed and well-fed. What a great way to spend the morning! Thank you!

    New Years Day and we wanted some place that we knew would be fantastic, so where else but Gjelina? It was busy but the hosts and servers were unfailingly polite. We ordered 6 things from the menu. My wife's vegan so she had the vegetable sandwich (she had to fight me for it, it was so good). Brussel sprouts, grilled fennel, and the frites were all great. My son and I split the anchovy and burrata toast - a first for me - and it's my new favorite. Finished with the excellent pomodoro pizza - no cheese and none needed, because the jammy tomato confit is the star of the dish. I love this place. It never lets me down. Happy 2025!
