Welcome to The Black Swan. Inspired by the pubs I fell in love with on my various travels, this re-interpretation of the neighborhood Public House represents an eclectic and updated take on the traditional pub. The Black Swan explores, embraces and combines various cultural influences to appeal to different tastes, offering unique and innovative dishes like Indian-inspired curries and pastas alongside more classic dishes like Shepherd’s Pie and Fish and Chips. I purposefully divided the restaurant into four distinct areas in order to offer something for everyone and I encourage all our neighbors to stop in at any hour, day or night. Belmonte’s Ristorante crafts fine Italian cuisine in its elegant and charming eatery, located in the seaside resort town of Asbury Park. For starters, the portabella mushrooms stuffed with eggplant, spinach and mozzarella and the battered artichoke hearts Francese make excellent choices. If pasta is what you are craving, Belmonte’s Ristorante has many delightful choices, such as the potato gnocchi in a meaty Bolognese sauce, the shrimp pappardelle Roma with mushrooms and asparagus and the fettuccini Frankie with crumbled sausage, escarole and beans. Some of Belmonte’s Ristorante other specialty entrées include the chicken Philadelphia sautéed with shallots, mushrooms and green peppercorns, the filet mignon in sherry wine sauce and the prosciutto and mozzarella stuffed pork chops in a madeira sauce.     I dined at The Grand Tavern last night with my wife and daughter. We selected our preferred location the bar to watch and talk to the expert mixologist, Erin, and the chefs’s magic in the kitchen. The real draw is the food, expertly prepared bistro food with a French flair, and the creative cocktails, as noted earlier. Dining at “The Grand” is an opportunity to go on a culinary adventure that elevates your mood and should not be missed.

    We went to celebrate our daughters birthday. Our server Jesse, was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great suggestions. The restaurant is nicely decorated! The food was excellent. I had the lamb shank special over risotto and the lamb was so tender and flavorful. My wife and one daughter got the skirt steak with orzo. The steak was cooked perfectly and the orzo was delicious. My other daughter had a fantastic burger. The crispy burrata was so delicious. My only complaint would be you only get one for $16. Highly recommend AP Rooftop!!
