For more than 20 years, Paolo’s has been bringing the taste of Italy to Kent. Paul Raftis founded the restaurant after growing up learning to cook along side his mother, Darlene Raftis. He enjoys the open kitchen he can chat with guests as he works. He never tires of hearing "It smells so good in here!" As a marathoner, he is living proof that that you can eat Italian and be healthy. In fact, one of his signature dishes, "Fettucine Paolo" was featured in Runner's World magazine. "It's one of the dishes I developed, it has no cream in it, no butter." It's a delicious pasta dish that utilizes olive oil, garlic, chicken stock, garlic, balsamic vinegar, sundried tomatoes, artichokes, and chicken.     We had such a special holiday tea. Each person gets to make their own selection of tea and gets their own pot. We got to take home a box of the special anniversary tea and make some extra holiday selections from a roving cart. We loved the special treat at the end to celebrate our anniversary- really sweet considering this was not something we directly communicated to the restaurant. Amazing service!

    This was our first time eating at this casino and we were not disappointed! The staff are attentive but not hovering. The presentation and preparation of the meal was Excellent. My Prime Rib was prepared perfectly for Med Rare. My wife's Filet Mignon was also perfectly cooked to Medium. the taste and seasoning of both cuts of meat were delicious. We will definitely be back..........with friends to enjoy this restaurant.

    A huge thank you to Melissa and all of the staff at Il Bistro for making our Christmas day dinner such a delicious and magical event! Our family was flying from Phoenix to Anchorage and wanted to stop and see my parents in Seattle… the Christmas dinner at Il Bistro was the perfect place to meet and enjoy time (and amazing food) together! But it required a lot of coordination, since our layover was only 4.5 hours - a tight window to get off the plane, into a cab, speed downtown, and get into the restaurant in time to meet my 80-year-old parents for our 5:30 PM reservation, and since reservations booked up so quickly, we had no room for error. Fortunately, Melissa helped us coordinate everything…it seemed the entire staff knew of our situation and was ready to help, treating my parents graciously, assisting them with nearby parking when they arrived, and seating them comfortably at our quiet corner table overlooking the restaurant so they could see us as soon as we came in. Such a gift! And the food was so delicious! Truly an unforgettable night 💕 Thank you Il Bistro!
