Welcome to Tempranillo Restaurant, where internationally acclaimed Chef Javier Gonzalez-Bringas, along with his partner and wife Laura, offer a daily menu of drinks, tapas, dinner and lunch. Gonzalez-Bringas, a Madrid Native, combines an old-world style with a new-world flair in his signature cuisine. The name Tempranillo, itself, pays homage to one of Spain's premier grape varieties, and true to its name the restaurant features a selection of over 100 hand-chosen wines. The atmosphere at Tempranillo is notable for its rich colors, dual fireplaces, and community gathering table-all reflecting the equally rich depth of flavors and influences which are at the heart of the restaurant's origins. Free Range Kitchen is the creation of owners Steve & Robin Humble who have been immersed in the Roaring Fork Valley's restaurant scene for 30 years. We strive to create a menu that offers seasonal, innovative comfort food. We use responsibly farmed, freshly harvested ingredients without hormones or antibiotics, supporting the local Colorado farming and ranching communities. We use local ingredients, whenever possible. Our goal is to create a BEAUTIFUL, FUN, WELCOMING restaurant & bar with WARM, FRIENDLY service, & a GREAT VIBE alongside the river, in Historic Downtown Basalt. With boutique global wine offerings, hand selected by Steve and a wide selection of regional craft beers and specialty cocktails using artisanal spirits and house-made infusions.

Thank you for visiting Kenichi Izakaya Carbondale. An Izakaya is a type of informal Japanese pub. At sake breweries during the late 18th century, people in Japan began using sake kegs as stools, and snacks were served. This small plate menu was designed to encourage sharing amongst friends and family. Food is prepared in multiple kitchens and arrives as it is ready to ensure freshness. We make most of our menu in-house, from scratch, and use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.If no reservations are available, please note that we do have walk in apcae at our bar and sushi bar.
