Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. Michelin doesn’t disappoint. DaNico would be my top recommendation if anyone would like to try modern Italian in Toronto. A good contrast between textures and flavors. E.g., crunchy pine nuts against tender raw tuna; sour enoki against vermouth sauce. The execution of the cod and beef preserved the tenderness to perfection, thereby highlighting the quality of the ingredients. Service was outstanding too. The staff was both knowledgeable and personable.

Delicious five star Ligurian dining in a beautifully designed space. Top quality- fresh and most appealing presentation. Flavours and complexity to die for. The staff were slightly wooden but that is minor compared to a most exceptional taste experience.

It was my first time trying plant based restaurant and I really enjoyed each dish. We tried burrata, pappadelle and white truffle agnolotti and finished off with sweet potato cheesecake. They were delicious and all staffs were very kind and attentive. Definitely going back!

The service and ambiance was great. Notable dishes were the challah and fluke and fennel. The fries were perfectly crispy and the broccoli was very flavourful. However, the ribeye was average, it lacked flavour but cooked properly yo medium rare.
