Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. What a beautiful restaurant. We have enjoyed in the past the other two that is owned by the group and enjoyed very much. The service was phenomenal up until we were finished and wanted to leave, but not a big deal. We just had to wait 20 minutes to ask for the bill. The food was absolutely delicious. Best smoked meat we have ever had, and the salmon was out of this world. Lively restaurant overall and recommend for a date night or fun get together.

Wonderful food. We shared keftedes,spanakopita, sea bass and choriatiki salad. Finished it off with Loukoumades that were better than my aunt's.... And she is an expert! Can't wait to go again!

Honestly I was quite impressed with the food, the presentation, and the customer service. My one piece of feedback would be I think the restaurant could have been more clearly labeled from the outside, it took us some time to find it on the street

Focaccia with Maple butter and baked Brie (plant based) with crostini were excellent starters Dinner was Rigate Gigi, Mushroom Truffle Agnolotti and vegan Salmon (3 ppl) All dishes were fantastic Dessert was the Chocolate Orange cake which was delicious Will definitely be back 😀👍
