The Aperture, the first full-scale restaurant project from Chef Jordan Anthony-Brown. The menu reflects the concept of Mediterranean mezze style dining, consisting of many small plates, rustic in nature and reflective of seasonality and creates a natural progression and flow for the dining experience. The Aperture’s menu reflects three fundamental tenets: intention, balance, and focus. The menu - and its individual dishes - are approached with the objective of putting critical thought into every component, eliminating the extraneous, and ensuring a natural flow across the menu. The culinary program is heavily influenced by the cuisine of the broader Mediterranean region and the simple, seasonal cooking of Southern France, Italy, Greece, and the Levant.Our menu changes often and with the seasons. Our Rattle Room welcomes you when joining us 4 floors below Vine street. The Rattle Room does not require reservations and is seated on a first come first serve basis.Reservations are recommended and prioritized for our Den. If you have a reservation, please check in with the host at the front door before waiting in line. For Jeff Ruby, this is the steakhouse that started it all. In 1981, The Precinct was born in the former Cincinnati Police Patrol House Number 6. Standing high above the city on the 10th floor of the City Club Apartments, at 309 Vine Street; resurrected from the history that has stood here before our time, Shires' Rooftop is inspired by the first amusement resort in this part of the country, Shires' Garden. Though the original Shires' Gardens burned to the ground, "in a most picturesque fire," the legacy that was left behind is everlasting and an integral part of the Queen City's history. The creation of the Matinee Performance, the regal guests Shires' hosted, an unsolved murder and other noteworthy events that took place at the original Shires' Gardens, are an inspiration to our program that we look forward to sharing with you.

    Best restaurant in Cincinnati by far! The cocktails are unique and innovative and each dish is crafted with fresh, seasonal ingredients and presented beautifully. The flavors are bold and complex, yet perfectly balanced. The service is impeccable. Kylie was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and making recommendations based on our preferences.

    My wife and I have dined at Jeff Ruby’s a few times over the years. One of the finest establishments that I have ever been in. From the moment you walk in the door you will be amazed at the ambience. When it is time to eat you will have the best steak of your life. Every side dish is amazing (especially those tater tots) and you can’t forget a piece of butter pie! Special shout out to Andrew and Lupe who worked hand in hand to make sure our experience was amazing as usual. See you again soon!!!

    Great experience as always. Sarah was extremely cordial and engaging! Cole did a great job serving our table and had a great amount of knowledge of Italian wines and helped us pair a Super Tuscan with our various courses! The food is always so great and was especially great last night!
