Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. After a long and heartwarming road at our current location, we thought for the need of moving. Our new home, located at Alvaro Obregon 65 bis - a much wider space where gleams of natural light shine upon the surface-, is carefully assembled by Gabriela's meticulous look, and a kitchen built within Eduardo García's early memories, while living as an inmigrant in a barn in Ohio. Despite this big change, our principles initially founded remain the same: to offer food that distinguishes the best of local products.

Sartoria is the gastronomic proposal of Italian chef Marco Carboni (former chef at Osteria Francescana by Massimo Bottura), where he expresses the philosophy of his italian roots, based on the product, the season and a “hand-made” approach.The menu is focused on seasonality, and products are produced in a sustainable way by small-scale producers. Lardo in Mexico City is known for chef Elena Reygadas' cooking of Mediterranean food from a wood burning oven. Diners are encouraged to share. We do not accept pets.Lardo serves breakfast with egg dishes like croque madame and sandwiches. For dinner, choose from a number of small plates like ham, cheese and salads. There are also pastas, pizzas and grilled foods like octopus with chorizo, tuna, calamari, squid and beef. Desserts at Lardo include tiramisu and sorbets. A large attractive bar with excellent vintages along with the open kitchen provide a fun place to enjoy a meal.

    Great experience if you want a fun party! Definitely not your place for a quiet dinner. We got seated 45 minutes after our reservation time unfortunately, but we’re given a glass of Prosecco to wait. The food was great, but not the best I’ve ever had. The focaccia to start was probably my favorite thing we had! I thought the pricing was reasonable considering the ambiance and the entire entertainment experience you get. Would return!

    Excelente alternativa de restaurantes ¡ Super lindo, muy verde, se te olvida que estas en la CDMX, lo único malo, es que no hay un letrero muy grande y el uber, no lo encontraba y estuvimos dando vueltas La comida es deliciosa¡¡¡¡ todo lo que pedimos, es muy rico, aunque de entradas, los caramelos con cebolla cristalizada.... increíbles Sin duda, un lugar para una cena romántica, o comida de negocios ¡¡¡
