Little Italy was built by the fishing industry. Ironside attempts to continue that narrative. It's our contemporary interpretation of the classic fish house and oyster bar. Located in a historic auction house on India St we did a full comprehensive restoration of the building, with three open-air culinary hubs featuring an expansive raw bar, chefs table, and bakery. We tried to be mindful of the past while looking towards the future. A 4% surcharge will be added to all guest checks.Ironside is now taking reservations for patio and dining room seating. It’s a good day lace to have a private conversation, as most tables are in high back booths and noise level is low. Food is good American fair, reasonably priced. And the Cowboy cookie is to die for.

From the wine, the fresh pastas and sauces to dessert delicious! We had the Carbonara, Fettuccini Alfredo and Bolognese, plates cleaned by the end. The seabass was succulent and risotto good but the pastas was where it's at for us...Nice size portions and the tiramisu authentically creamy with perfected flavors. The service was welcoming, expedient, warm and entertaining. Our waiter sung a couple Italian operetic bars for the room making our time at Acqua e Farina momentous. Happy to have a new dinner spot in downtown Chula Vista.

What a great restaurant and a wonderful surprise! We went to see our friend Roman Palacios, who is an incredible performer, singer and all around lovely man! From the time we came in the door, the staff was friendly, attentive, professional, and did all they could to make sure that we had a comfortable table close to the live entertainment. The food was delicious and the service was very prompt. I highly recommend it.
