Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. With an open kitchen, and a comfortable atmosphere, Indaco can seat approximately 85 guests inside for a casual night of food and drinks. Our waitress was wonderful, I cannot remember her name but she has black stylish glasses, we had a tight time frame and she honored our time schedule and kept us on track.. my petite filet with Italian Oscar was delicious. The bread melted in our mouth. Our waitresses recommendations were on point.

The food was amazing! We had an assortment of items from the menu and our expectations were exceeded for every single choice. From the Jerk Chicken Noodle Soup to the Southern Fried Chicken, Mac n Cheese, Jerk Lamb Chops, Cinnamon Roll Waffles... we're still trying to decide what our favorite part of the meal was - all of it was my favorite!

We ordered the agnolotti ! It was French onion on the menu. It was delicious! It was like a French onion soup deconstructed!! I had the salad for my meal and it was delicious and my husband had the poke bowl which he said was fantastic! All in all it was a delicious meal!

The atmosphere here is very luxurious. My wife and I went here for a date night. It feels like an old school speak easy and the cocktails are top notch. I ordered their old fashion and it was made perfectly with the largest clearest ice brick I’ve ever seen!!! My wife and I shared the wagyu sliders and the truffle fries, absolutely amazing and I’m a huge burger and fries guy in my house!! It’s a must go.
