At Babette, the husband and wife team of Joan Ellis and Patrick Hooker, are in the kitchen preparing each plate to ensure that their vision and taste profile are translated to each diner. The interior of the restaurant is natural brick and the couple have chosen a rich color palette of deep blues and greens for the walls.     Food and service was great but it was really noisy. Drinks were just Ok. Difficult to carry on a convo because of the noise and tight seating arrangements.

    Food was so good and everyone was so nice! I asked for a booth and they adjusted my reso without question and did all they could to accommodate. Only "issue" was that at times it did get a tad bit too loud (maybe due to where we were sitting, no carpet on the floor in the section I was sitting in), but that's also what made the ambiance so fun and exciting! So really no complains. I would def go back again. PS - The Cod and the Duck were super yummy! They also have homemade Kombucha!
