Established over a decade ago, Aurora restaurant is a landmark of the Italian cuisine in the vibrant neighborhood of Williamsburg. Aurora creates a perfect balance of tradition and innovation, with a great respect for seasonality, by combining top quality Italian imports, sustainably grown local produce and house-made specialties. The wine program offers a list of over 150 labels, along with craft beers, signature cocktails, and a full liquor bar. The rustic and charming dining room with exposed brick walls and high ceilings, opens to an intimate, leafy garden, enclosed during the colder months, and perfect for a relaxing dinner "al fresco" during the warm season. Aurora is a great spot for a romantic date, a casual getting together with friends, or private events.

Polo and Stephanie opened Meadowsweet together in 2014 and they see it as an extension of their home. Beauty & Essex has an innovative design that starts in the restaurant’s entrance, a well-curated modern-day pawn shop replete with a saxophone, boom­box, quirky artifacts, vintage treasures, and an eclectic array of “one-off” pieces of jewelry. Continuing past the pawnshop, guests encounter a grand, circular staircase wrapped around a two-story custom chandelier, but only the adventurous will discover all that Beauty & Essex has to offer. With four distinct dining rooms (one private), two bars, a lounge, and a women’s bathroom complete with a salon including a luxurious sofa, and antique perfume bottles. The cuisine, much like the design, is intended to set a new course. Chef Chris Santos was one of the pioneers of the small, share plate dining trend that has swept the nation, and with the Beauty & Essex menu, he once again has created waves on the food scene.

    If you’re looking for a stunning rooftop spot with great vibes, this place is a must-visit! The view is breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the ambiance is relaxed yet sophisticated. The snacks are on point—perfectly portioned, flavorful, and creatively presented. Whether you’re into classic tapas or something with a modern twist, there’s plenty to choose from. I especially loved truffle fries absolutely delicious! Overall, it’s the perfect spot to unwind with friends or celebrate a special evening. Lana was so nice Highly recommended

    This one lives up to the hype! Every dish we had was memorable and something we’d come back for! Grilled cheese dumplings, kale & apple salad, miso eggplant, truffle mac & cheese and beef Wellington all highly recommended… the steak was super tender and tasty (we were skeptical). Oh and the espresso martini! You won’t be disappointed!

    Food was great. Almost everything on the menu was gluten free which was amazing. The place is very nice inside, but we were sat in a dark area which was a little hard to see. Also a little hard to hear each other talk from the noise of other people seating close to us. Service was decent.

    Ozzy and Violet and the rest of the staff were super amazing. They took great care of us and I will definitely be back. The staff were very attentive. Everything was just on point and I love the ambience.
