Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen. The current dining room experience is an 8-course tasting menu honoring the Mid-Atlantic's bounty. We offer an additional 3-course experience at our bar and bar area tables.     I’d suggest you make a reservation as it was a full house at 2pm on a Thursday. We were greeted promptly by our server and she checked on us regularly. The food came out timely and it was delicious. We each had alcoholic beverages, salads, an entree, cappuccinos and dessert. The bill was about $200 and I felt that was a fair price and worth it.

    Such a great place to bring in the New Year and to celebrate our anniversary. We couldn’t have asked for better service and great food. Everything was excellent! Terry our server was absolutely amazing, true customer delight experience.

    First time, and will not be the last. The food, drinks, service and ambiance were 10/10. Happened to dine on Wednesday. Who knew it was jazz night! Holiday season decor made it extra special. Great attention to details. Oh, and this is a biggie for me… the restrooms were clean!!

    We’ve been to Huncho House a couple times and wanted to visit 1123. I love both, but the full service bar at 1123 is an added bonus. Sushi lovers would love this place. I had the fish and grints and the left overs are delic still! The chocolate cake was for dessert, delic as well. I’m moving out the area but when in town will return! Note, I am vegetarian, occasionally pescatarian when I eat out, no vegan options, but I came also for the amazing ambiance. Our waitress was Faith, loved her personality and she allowed me to hold some items to the side and customize my food a little. I didn’t ask for much. The flavors was on point!
