Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees.     I finally visited Rasa last night with my girlfriend after hearing so many great recommendations, and it did not disappoint! We opted for the $80 tasting menu, and it was absolutely worth it. This place is proof that amazing food doesn’t need to rely on overcomplicated recipes or fancy ingredients. Every dish was thoughtfully paired, and the simple yet skillful preparations delivered incredible flavors. I’m already looking forward to going back to explore more of their menu. Highly recommend!

    Innovative food with impeccable service. Definitively a destination to come back over and over. The steaks are yummy and perfect for sharing. We had the ribeye which was juicy and perfectly done. The mushroom blintz is unique and a wonderful compliment. The fluke and fennel is also a bit familiar while also different. We wanted to try everything on the menu. The cocktails are all complimentary and a star on their own. We'll be back.

    Focaccia with Maple butter and baked Brie (plant based) with crostini were excellent starters Dinner was Rigate Gigi, Mushroom Truffle Agnolotti and vegan Salmon (3 ppl) All dishes were fantastic Dessert was the Chocolate Orange cake which was delicious Will definitely be back 😀👍

    Amazing place!! Food is incredible!! The place is a little bit expensive but for the food and the quality of the place it probably is worth it! Definitely recommend coming here!
