Mamakas Taverna is an elegant 85-seat Greek taverna on Ossington Ave. Owner Thanos Tripi brings a fresh, authentic approach to Aegean food, offering classical Greek dishes against a contemporary canvas. One of the best Italian restaurants in Toronto! The Beet salad, rapini, agnolotti, cappelletti were fantastic. Cannoli were better the ones I remember eating in Sicily.

It was my first time trying plant based restaurant and I really enjoyed each dish. We tried burrata, pappadelle and white truffle agnolotti and finished off with sweet potato cheesecake. They were delicious and all staffs were very kind and attentive. Definitely going back!

The service and ambiance was great. Notable dishes were the challah and fluke and fennel. The fries were perfectly crispy and the broccoli was very flavourful. However, the ribeye was average, it lacked flavour but cooked properly yo medium rare.

An amazing dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The ambiance was very elegant, creating the perfect atmosphere. Highly recommend!
