We start with the freshest ingredients we can find, delivered to our kitchen each day of the week. We make everything on our menu from scratch, every day. We grill over hardwood, not gas, the way that it was a long time ago. It may not be the fastest or least expensive way to do business, but for us, it is the only way. We had a family diner for my wife birthday. It was our first time dining at Lanning's, even though we have lived near by for 30years. It was a great time, everyone enjoyed there meal and the service was friendly and attentive.

We dined here for my fiancé’s birthday. We were sat in a booth as requested immediately upon arrive. Our server was fantastic and made sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. The food was delicious. We love dining at the lodge and will definitely be back again! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The beet infused martini is exceptional—herbaceous and tart and a beautiful color! The borscht and chicken paprikas soups were delicious and the schnitzel was tasty and enormous. The cabbage rolls were very good but the mushroom gravy stole the show. Our waiter was excellent—there when we needed him but never rushing us.
