From the moment we sat down in the beautiful dining room and were met by our outstanding waiter, Todd, we knew we’re in for an experience. As Todd went over the menu with us, he shared that the head chef was hosting a watch party in a few hours for the new season of top chef, in which she is a participant. Okay, here we go, we thought. And boy were we in for a great meal. Our cocktails were inventive and beautiful, our mushroom appetizer, divine, our mains were the real show. I had the elk Wellington and my husband the trout. Outstanding. Chef’s ability to mix flavors and textures to include smokey notes, spicy notes, earthy notes and a little brightness all at the same time really showed off her incredible talent as a chef.
