Welcome to Oggi Trattoria!Family owned and operated, Oggi makes every guest that dines here feel like they are part of the family, too.In Italian, Oggi means “today,” and there’s no time like the present to be in the moment, enjoying a meal of fresh and delicious Italian food in the company of loved ones. The menu offers un classics like Grilled Octopus, Calamari, or Baked Clams as starters to whet the appetite. Pastas include favorites from house-made Gnocchi to Spaghetti Carbonara, Fettuccini Alfredo, and Lasagna. Meat dishes range from seafood and pasta dishes (try the Gamberi Alla Diavolo, linguine with a spicy shrimp and tomato sauce) to Saltimboca made with chicken or veal. Oggi’s menu features a wide range of pizza: both stuffed and thin crust, build-your-own or traditional.     Great experience. Great food. Great server. Good music. Only down side was that they ran out of meatballs and tiramisu. The ribs were amazing. Chopped salad was delicious. I even loved the salami and pickled eggplant they bring to the table. We will be back!

    I was so happy we were able to get in last minute. We looked at reservations for tonight around 11 am, the only thing available was 9:15. Maybe 45 minutes later a 6:45 pops up and we were able to snag it. We had the short rib humus, whipped feta, hamachi, pork belly, steak & frites, fried halloumi and two kabobs. Perfect for all 4 of us hungry eaters. 100% will be back- if you can get in I highly recommend trying anything and everything on the menu. Service was impeccable. Food was courses perfectly and everything came out hot right out of the oven. If you have been to Bavel in LA you will love this “sister” in Chicago

    Always excellent! For starters, please try the yellowfin tuna. For dinner we always get the spinalis (rib eye cap) and it’s amazing!! Honorable mention: fresh chip, onion dip and caviar starter! Amazing!
