Set on the edge of the picturesque Wessex Downs in the North Hampshire countryside, Malverleys is a small farm, restaurant, bakery and shop. We offer a versatile space for the local community to enjoy coffee, wholesome food and carefully sourced produce.Malverleys provides an outlet immersed in the countryside where friends and family can meet, or those seeking time to themselves can enjoy the comfortable, tranquil atmosphere. Visitors have the opportunity to purchase sustainably sourced products, attend horticultural workshops, and dine in the restaurant where ingredients are seasonal and often raised/grown on-site in the market garden and surrounding land. We also source the best of British fish, with deliveries throughout the week from day-boats landing at Looe harbour and from Hampshire's chalk streams.

A rural public house serving local beers, Berkshire gin and ciders, as well as a great wine selection. Bar snacks and full meals available 7 days a week. Cooking over a central grill makes for great theatrical cooking from our open-plan kitchen, overseen by Head Chef Nick Galer. Whilst a subtle Basque feel will permeate throughout, its roots are firmly founded on those of a classic English pub – so while featuring top end Basque dishes fit for a destination dinner, it also offers simple pub snacks for a light lunch… while the food may be inspired by the Basque country, the ingredients are local… and while the wines may be sourced from Iberia, the beer is very much English.The crowning glory is the sensational open kitchen, with a huge, CHARCOAL FIRED parilla grill and a BRICK OVEN as its centrepiece and all in front of the guests – very visual and very theatrical. I had lunch here with a friend to celebrate her birthday. We had a delicious meal, with excellent, friendly but not intrusive service and to our surprised delight my friend was brought a delicious complimentary cake on a plate with Happy Birthday written on it . Will certainly return.

What a beautiful find for Sunday lunch. Marked 1 star down on food as it would have been nice to have an option on the roast meat. Luckily we both like pork so we’re good but could be a problem for some. The staff and surroundings were great. We shall definitely return.

We had another enjoyable lunch at The Royal Oak today with friends. Excellent food . The food on Sunday 22nd December was also excellent when we met family there . I would highly recommend!
