A standout for me was the Seared Hokkaido scallops, saffron paella cakes, smoked roe, bacon glazed squash, celeriac velouté, frisée. The layers of flavor and texture were simply unforgettable. Pair that with a glass from their thoughtfully curated wine list, and you’re in for a treat. La Merise is always very nice, their wine pours are very generous and it feels like a little piece of Europe. But the Trout last night was incredibly delicious! It is served covered with the heavenly gremolaud sauce on a bed of brown rice and veggies. You should have it, its is absolutely divine! However, I would recommend a little better play list. The Christmas music is great but could be more charming and lovely, rather than ordinary. Thank you, La Merise!

Great family run Italian restaurant. We’ve been before and it was just as good as we remembered. This was the first time we took our daughter and her fiancée. They loved it too! Always great service and the food is delicious

I love tapas and shared plate as it provides an opportunity to try various dishes... especially when dining with a group of friends. This gem of a restaurant offers a robust, creative and delicious range of small plates including cheeses, meats, seafood and vegetarian. They also have a large creative cocktail menu. We all left the meal very pleased and looking forward to returning again.

We went to the Gingerbread House Decorating party. So. Much. Fun. Everyone got a gingerbread house kit, a delicious birria arepa, and a cocktail or mocktail. There was also a DJ playing holiday music. We had a great time building our houses, which came out cute, and really appreciated not having to clean up our icing mess! This is a fun activity I would recommend to friends or families. We were two generations of adults, but there were a few kids there. Most were 20 and 30-something’s. Oh, we also ordered guacamole and queso that were yummy!
