Chez Dominique is a family run restaurant serving French and European food. We are located on the beautiful Argyle Street just over Pulteney Bridge and our smaller dining room, which can also be booked for private dining, overlooks Pulteney Weir. We have a carefully chosen wine list and an interesting selection of drinks. Bookings of 5-6 will be seated either in our Main Restaurant or Private Dining Room. Lovely pub and very attentive staff. Sunday lunch was good, but not quite the excellent we had hoped for. Belly of pork was meant to come with crackling but instead had a thing placed on top that was like a large, overcooked pork scratching, and the gravy was a bit lacking in flavour, but I’m probably being a bit picky as we’d definitely go back again as overall experience was great!!

Our group of 6 was seated in a cosy little room overlooking the weir. The food was top notch, everyone's food preferences were accommodated graciously. Portions were generous and the authentic French cuisine was wonderful. Excellent service and welcome. Look forward to a return visit!
