Fabulous roast dinner great service and lovely atmosphere

Our first time here and we were a multi generational group from 7 to 83. The staff were friendly and the service times reasonable. The child's meal was enjoyed. 2 had the large sharer which was on a insta offer so reasonable value. The 2 jalfrezi were tasty and good portion but very salty, and I like salt. The lamb rogan josh was disappointing: mainly gravy with some lumps of lamb. Nan bread was enjoyed. The prices however were extortionate and means I will not be returning. Much better value at a curry restaurant.

Lovely sunny day, we were seated and served promptly.The genuinely pleasant and helpful staff made us keen to return.The food was delicious we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.A special mention to the Portuguese waitress who was an asset to the business in our opinion.

The Robin Hood at Pennington in Leigh has become a firm pre-match favourite for my son and I when going to watch the Leopards play at the Sports Village. It's a homely place that serves tasty pub food in a lovely, warm atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Service is top notch and the meals are all freshly prepared. Going to the Robin Hood for tea is a lovely treat and I can heartily recommend it. We have never had a bad meal there.

There was 14 of us precooked. The staff were very friendly especially Joely who looked after us really well. Everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We have rebooked for next month
