Situated down a quiet side street, on the corner of elegant St Peter’s Square, The Carpenter’s Arms is an independent nineteenth-century pub with a beautiful garden where the food is the star.We focus on simple, beautifully cooked seasonal food. La Palombe is a new neighbourhood bistro from restaurateur James Chiavarini (also of Il Portico) & chef patron Jake Leach (previously head chef at the three Michelin starred The Ledbury).A large wood burning grill takes center stage where the majority of the dishes are cooked over live embers. James & Jake work together every shift to serve dishes with a real sense of terroir and provenance, including our speciality of wild foods foraged ourselves. Welcome to The Grove. A modern gastro pub serving a selection of contemporary and classic dishes. We offer a casual dining area with full table service, and a large bar area with assisted service. We are a dog friendly pub as long as they are with well behaved hoomans but we don't allow dogs in our dining area, if you would like to bring a four-legged friend, let us know and we can seat you in our bar area or garden.We accept bookings up to 6 inside, multiple bookings cannot be made for the same party. We have a click and pay app for our guests; it helps us decrease contact at the bar. It also enables our guest to remain at their table. Not all of our tables are covered outside, so please email if you wish to specify. We are now cashless; If you wish to sit in specific area of the pub either Restaurant, Bar or Outdoor please let us know so we can make sure your request is being accommodated if possible.
