We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. Excellent food. Don’t fill up too much on bread as if you have the cod wing starter it’s very generous and you may regret it. We followed with a sublime steak with crispy pink fir potatoes and yummy marmite hollandaise. Powered though despite being full and loved every mouthful!

The "Bish" has had a recent refurbishment and this was our first visit for Sunday lunch since. The refurbishment, in muted colours, is very classy, with excellent artwork and proper seats now rather than it's former jumble of what can only be described as school chairs. It's also a delight to report that the food is at least as good, if not better. Smaller roast potatoes, but more of them, divinely fluffy yorkies,excellent vegetables and perfect roast beef. We also ordered a side of seriously cheesy cauliflower cheese. An absolute delight.
