Join Landlord Stuart and Head Chef Helder for breakfast, lunch or supper at the Wattenden Arms. Built over 150 years ago we are a hidden gem close to the famous Kenley Aerodrome. Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.

If you want to come in just for a drink, upstairs there is a great cocktail bar with reasonably priced cocktails and a bar snack menu.The restaurant has welcomed celebrities such as Coco Chanel, Charles de Gaulle, Maurice Chevalier, Laurence Olivier, Lucien Freud and Francis Bacon. and was a favourite of Princess DianaL'Escargot is located close to all the major West-End theatres, which makes it an excellent pre and post theatre dining spot.

Great service with friendly, efficient staff. Sunday lunch was excellent! Started with salmon on sourdough, followed by turkey roast with a side of cauliflower cheese. No room left for a dessert. Will definitely return.

2nd time visiting. 1st was just for drinks all really good! Went for the roast on Sunday good was great however be prepared to ask for the same thing more than twice and to be forgotten unless you stare and wave your arms around. The only time you won’t need to do it is when the guy comes to collect payment he’ll appear at your table with the card machine. With that said the ambience is nice great place to catch up with friends.

The Tulse Hill Hotel has large open spaces inside and out within this well run pub/hotel. It's position on the south circular traffic system isn't ideal - but a good spot to meet friends midway between South East and South West London!
