A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. The Albion is a Georgian gem left over from a time when Islington was fields and farmland, and where the regulars would take afternoon walks out of the city to visit us. We have a lovely garden which resembles places found in the South of France, with the wisteria blooming and the willow creating a nice and relaxed atmosphere. In the back of the garden there is an old barn which used to be a bar, and the rumour is that the Sex Pistols played their first concert in the barn. Inside, the log fires create a lovely atmosphere during the cold months, where you can wrap up and enjoy a drink or food both in our dining room and bar areas. We are frequented by regulars from our local area as well as their dogs. We happily provide both water and biscuits for visiting dogs and love to have them around.

Such an incredible restaurant! The food was unreal and the service was excellent. I even received a beautiful birthday dessert on the house! So impressed with the service and quality of food especially being vegan and gluten free, there were soooo many incredible options to choose from. We ended up ordering 8 plates because everything sounded so good and each dish definitely lived up to their description, if not better. Thank you to everyone for making our evening so magical, special thank you to Meriam who was so attentive and knowledgeable, she gave us the best taco recommendations! :)

Tasty food, good prices, nice atmosphere. We went for a Sunday roast with my family and sat at the upper floor which was more quiet. The service was great and the food and wine was very nice.
