In 2024, the original location of Petit Trois, on Highland Ave in Hollywood, celebrates 10 years as a beloved, can't miss part of LA's dining scene. Chef/Owner Ludo Lefebvre puts his spin on classic French flavors including the cult-favorite Big Mec burger, swimming in rich Bordelaise sauce, perfectly roasted Heritage chicken with compressed potatoes fried in clarified butter, a French Dip sandwich served with a version of the restaurant's onion soup for dipping, and lots more. Start with the restaurant's housemade baguette served with the creamiest French butter and pair it all with wine from the restaurant's thoughtfully curated list, which includes 16 by the glass options. New menu is a huge improvement - I found 4-5 entrees that I could eat and enjoy, not just 1 or 2 like before. They cater specifically to the Cale-Baby Field Greens croud, but there were sufficient items for those of us who like just normal food to have a good choice.

We went there after the Rose bowl because it was close to the stadium. We had several of the shareable dishes and each got a burger. Very good food. We were also there on wine Wednesday so we got a half price bottle of wine. Good stuff.
