In 2024, the original location of Petit Trois, on Highland Ave in Hollywood, celebrates 10 years as a beloved, can't miss part of LA's dining scene. Chef/Owner Ludo Lefebvre puts his spin on classic French flavors including the cult-favorite Big Mec burger, swimming in rich Bordelaise sauce, perfectly roasted Heritage chicken with compressed potatoes fried in clarified butter, a French Dip sandwich served with a version of the restaurant's onion soup for dipping, and lots more. As always, we love going to Petit Trois for the delectable selection of dishes, all prepared right in front of of you if you’re lucky enough to sit at the counter watching all the delicious magic taking place. We love the food, the enjoyable banter among all the staff, and the fact that it’s some of the best French cuisine in LA.

We went for Sunday brunch and sat out on their nice patio. It wasn’t very crowded. We were seated right away and our server came up right away to assist us and she was lovely. We ordered drinks, and espresso martini, and their highlighted cocktail, which was excellent. We ordered the Mediterranean platter and we were able to exchange the Labneh for muhamara since my friend was lactose intolerant. The waitress was very cognizant of that and made sure that nothing had dairy in it. We also ordered the Cleopatra salad and that was really nice. We had the olive oil cake for dessert and it was nice and moist and sweet. Overall, an excellent meal and I hope to be back.
