I’m so excited to announce the second restaurant in partnership with hotel giant Melia, is Gino D’Acampo Quayside.It’s a beautiful light, open plan restaurant with floor to ceiling windows that lets the natural light flood it – it’s a real mood booster. That’s not all, we also have a huge contemporary terrace overlooking the iconic River Tyne, I can’t wait for you to see it.Serving real Italian food as it should be, the menu really does have something for everyone. Kiln is a small restaurant in the heart of the Ouseburn. The Ship Inn is located in the village of Wylam which is close to Hadrian's Wall and George Stephenson's cottage. We are situated 8 miles from the centre Newcastle Upon Tyne and 5 miles from the Metro Centre which is one of Europe's biggest shopping centres.Newcastle Airport is 15 miles drive and Close House golf course is close by. The Ship Inn is in a great location for exploring Northumberland's National park with its many walks and rivers. Wylam railway station is 5 minute's walk away.
