The Watermans Richmond is an all day Restaurant and Bar in the centre of town, conveniently located on an ancient cobbled street that leads down to the waterfront.Our food is the best of British ingredients, served with a nod to southern Europe, with favourite dishes ranging from scallop ravioli to fregola, veal chops and day boat fish. We also have vegetarian and vegan options as well as delicious puddings including tiramisu, poached pears and profiteroles.We have been the site of a Public house for centuries and still offer a selection of draught beers however we have an extensive wine list focusing mostly on classic wines from Europe.The Restaurant is divided into several areas: luxurious deep leather banquette seating, bar counters perfect for lunches and more casual dining and cosy fireside dining in our upstairs room. This 17th Century building sits above a shallow slope to the Thames and enjoys both a sunny veranda balcony and a pretty paved garden right on the riverside.Apart from one or two extensions over the years the pub building remains relatively untouched, giving it a traditional pub feel.Festooned with flowers and plants outside in summer and warmed with log fires in the winter it’s been a very special local in Twickenham for many years.

Fantastic place to meet our daughter for a meal prior to going to the pantomime. Excellent service, attentive staff and time to chat and enjoy an beautiful meal. Excellent mushy peas and tartare sauce complemented the fantastic fish & chips. Plus Tiramisu to die for .

The Sunday roast was amazing, and our host, Liam, was outstanding. He was attentive and made sure that we had a top-up on our roast. His timing for each course we had was impeccable. It was the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. I will definitely visit again because the customer service was 10/10.

Beautiful meal expertly served in a gracious Arts and Crafts era setting. Good wine list with excellent advice from the Sommelier. Daria made us very welcome with her quiet, efficient friendly service. Unusual menu full of choice for vegetarians and omnivores alike! Great flavours well presented - a feast for the eye and palate, a perfect restaurant for all your special occasions.

They have a truly great sticky toffee pudding. It’s better than the one in the mute swan and that one is damn good
