The Loch & the Tyne is all about sustainable British luxury. The perfect countryside location for exclusive weddings, private events and country getaways. A true Adam Handling restaurant in style, the menu showcases the best of British produce with a huge emphasis on sustainable practices, featuring ingredients from its own vegetable gardens and orchard. Adam’s take on a traditional British pub, The Loch & the Tyne is open 5 days a week, from Wednesday to Sunday. The pub offers a relaxed and cosy space where guests can pop in for a quick drink or retreat for the day trying out the thoughtfully-curated list of local craft beers and wine. We very much celebrate English wines, both still and sparkling.We are dog and children friendly pub. Our cosy lounge area is dedicated for the guests with the dogs and little ones - please let us know prior your booking so we can accomodate you accordingly.

We have zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour.The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from. The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

Lovely evening. The lady that looked after us was wonderful. Friendly and attentive. The food was lovely. The whole team were very welcoming. Nice to see so many smiling team members. January can be tough in hospitality. Well done all of you.

The menu is varied and the prices very reasonable. I was particularly impressed by how they could adapt dishes to suit dietary requirements for gluten free and vegan diets.

You cannot match the Settings or the view of this restaurant it’s incredible, it is located right on the river, and there is a partial view of Windsor castle, it took us, roughly 8 minutes to walk from the Castle to this restaurant. great selection of medium to full body wines, there’s also a good selection of other drinks, if you are not a wine drinker. To start, we have the French onion soup and Fougasse ( garlic bread). Both were delicious,, our family had the beef cheek Bourguignon, Paulette Breton and sirloin steak. The bourguignon had a thicker gravy then I perfer, but overall Our meal was delicious. The View and service were excellent… The ambience is very relaxing and peaceful, this was the perfect place to wind down after a busy day. I would discourage parents taking children who are tried and fussy.
