THE WOODSMAN IS A TRULY BRITISH RESTAURANTWe use the best British ingredients, all sourced as sustainably as possible.We love using Wild food, and harvest much of it ourselves. All the meat on our menus is “nose to tail” so the menu is ever changing, and we waste nothing. We even employ our own head ranger to keep the deer herds on the land we manage under control, and have our own deer larder in the Cotswolds where this amazing product is processed.Our fish comes from day boats in Cornwall.We work with the seasons, ensuring the very best truly local veg is with us the day after its picked. Our food is cooked over wood from local plantations, and charcoal coppiced less than 20 miles away.We know the story of everything on the menu.Our lovely staff are extremely well informed, so, do ask questions on anything you’re not sure of.We hope you love this restaurant as much as we do and keep coming back.

The One Elm was the second pub in the Peach Pubs’ stable. It has long been a stalwart in the Stratford social scene. What an amazing lunchtime experience. A fantastic old building with so much history. The food was excellent and the service perfect and very attentive. We will definitely return in May when we are back in the area. It's a must ! don't miss out if you are visiting the area.

Great atmosphere, warm, cozy and quiet enough to hold conversation. Wide range of foods on the menu and a choice of specials. Good drink selection. Some of the portion sizes were slightly small but that is my only criticism. What stood out was the excellent service. Attentive and friendly staff who could not do enough. Really outstanding.

Wonderful Sunday lunch today. Wish I had booked last night too. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were all very amenable and efficient. All of them were excellent which is a good sign. Very pleasant atmosphere.
