Nestled in the picturesque village of Lowonsford, on the banks of the Stratford Canal, between winding country roads that used to be part of the Forest of Arden, The Fleur De Lys is the very best kind of country pub. Packed full of quaint charm and quirky corners beneath its C16th wooden beams, The Fleur is a cosy haven in the winter and an extensive paradise in the summer. There are so many tiny wonders packed into this historic building that you will always find something new to fall in love with when you visit. Our garden boasts an acre of land to run riot on and a low level wooden children’s playground, alongside over 30 tables and benches. We’re ideally situated for walkers and ramblers who wish to explore the canal towpath or a variety of local walks. THE WOODSMAN IS A TRULY BRITISH RESTAURANTWe use the best British ingredients, all sourced as sustainably as possible.We love using Wild food, and harvest much of it ourselves. All the meat on our menus is “nose to tail” so the menu is ever changing, and we waste nothing. We even employ our own head ranger to keep the deer herds on the land we manage under control, and have our own deer larder in the Cotswolds where this amazing product is processed.Our fish comes from day boats in Cornwall.We work with the seasons, ensuring the very best truly local veg is with us the day after its picked. Our food is cooked over wood from local plantations, and charcoal coppiced less than 20 miles away.We know the story of everything on the menu.Our lovely staff are extremely well informed, so, do ask questions on anything you’re not sure of.We hope you love this restaurant as much as we do and keep coming back.

The One Elm was the second pub in the Peach Pubs’ stable. It has long been a stalwart in the Stratford social scene.     Service was not upto scratch and we were the only table we could see in the restaurant, snd we'd been located out of sight of the bar so I think we got forgotten about. One of our party ordered from the specials for dessert, and the salted caramel appears to have been made with salt instead of sugar, it was totally inedible, and we all tried it before he complained. He asked for an alternative edible dessert which happened to be cheaper but we were still charged for the inedible one which I don't think is very good practice. We have eaten here regularly over the years and love it but this was a very disappointing experience.

    Wonderful Sunday lunch today. Wish I had booked last night too. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were all very amenable and efficient. All of them were excellent which is a good sign. Very pleasant atmosphere.

    Came to the holly bush for our family Boxing Day meal last night and it absolutely amazing food was excellent and the service to match , added touch of the Xmas hats were fab my 2 nephews loved them will definitely book again for next year
