The food was excellent, even though there was an issue with our order, the manager came to see us and offered us dessert for the trouble, quick response and great service, will come again. The food was excellent. Good sized portions too.

This wonderful gem EXCEEDED our expectations! My husband and I celebrate our anniversary in the north end every year and like to try a new restaurant every time- this place was phenomenal- every single bite was excellent from the starter arugula salad to the veal Marsala which was impeccably seasoned and incredibly tender to the flourless chocolate cake which was oh so fudgy and decadent- the owner/chef came to our table to make sure everything was great (to me this is a staple for a well run restaurant). We were beyond impressed with the wait staff as well- never needed for anything. It will be hard to try a new restaurant next year as this one leaves some really big shoes to fill! Thank you Tresca for a night and a meal to remember!

We had a wonderful time! It was my first time at Mooo, and after everyone in my extended family has been telling me to go, I will say it did not disappoint. The filet mignon and beef wellington were cooked to PERFECTION, which is especially impressive for the wellington. 11/10 would eat again

The menu at Contessa is a true tribute to the flavors of Italy. We began our meal with the freshest antipasti of Tonnato Crudo. Each bite of this dish consisting of thinly sliced raw tuna, artichoke hearts, and anchovy was a burst of flavor and authenticity. For the primi course, we shared the Spicy Lobster Capellini. Wow! Pasta was cooked perfect al dente; the lobster sauce was amazing. Nice small chunks of lobster throughout. For the main course, we split the Grilled Mediterranean Branzino. Believe me, it was cooked to perfection, flaky and full of delicate flavors. Dessert was the grand finale. The tiramisu was light, airy, and just the right amount of sweet. It was a divine ending to what was already a remarkable meal. What truly sets Contessa apart, though, is the service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure our experience was nothing short of flawless. They offered wonderful wine pairings and gave great recommendations, making us feel like VIPs throughout the evening. The entire small staff was superb. Friendly, accommodating, and just lovely people. The food was outstanding especially anything with a red sauce. We had our three young adult sons and our young daughter with us. I actually felt the meal was reasonably priced and not a city gouge fest. My favorite North End dining experience that I can recall.
