Meaza Zemedu started her business by supplying local Ethiopian stores with her home-baked injera bread, a crepelike staple of Ethiopian cuisine.Demand for the tangy bread grew, allowing her to open her majestic restaurant, which welcomes guests to dine on traditional Ethiopian fare. Northern Virginia Magazine heaped praise upon the menu, including the doro wat stew—the national dish of Ethiopia—which includes chicken, red pepper, garlic, and hard-boiled eggs. Bashar and the Wren staff were incredibly tactful and considerate during my fiancé’s birthday dinner — the izakaya selections were superb and the ambiance was immaculate, especially when paired with drinks that reminded us of our appreciation for the artistry of bartending once more. I agree it can be cumbersome to reach, but it’s a minor gripe I can forgive such a gem in Tyson’s worth seeking all the same — thanks again for the birthday card!

Considering it was Christmas Eve, we were seated early and had excellent service by G. We were well taken care of. Expect to pay for great food and great service, though.

Another terrific experience at TFK! Samantha was my server today and did an absolutely stellar job. Not only was she extremely attentive despite her entire section being full, but she was also spot-on with refills and other requests. I could not have asked for better service! I know I can always count on excellent, high-quality food and service whenever dining at TFK. As a foodie, this is crucial for both myself and any guests I may bring along with me.
