Opened in summer of 2020, Yalla brings a Mediterranean smokehouse to the heart of the Multnomah Village neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. Our waitress was Kathy (I recognized her as she used to work for Red Robin's) and she was the best ever! So friendly & all around pleasant person! You are lucky to have her! She worked hard getting all of us ladies our picky requests with a smile never leaving her face! She deserves a big fat bonus or a raise...or at least one of those! The Thanksgiving Feast meal was delicious and hearty portions. Definitely leftovers! I just wish you were open Christmas day, however, you deserve to celebrate with your loved ones as well. Hope to be there around the next holiday season at least once before end of year!

Had an exceptional birthday date dinner here. Excellent service and super friendly staff, amazing food, and lovely ambiance. Great options & accommodations for all dietary needs: omnivore, pescatarian or vegan. What a gem. Will be back!
