Located in San Francisco’s Design District, Niku Steakhouse is a meat-focused restaurant, highlighting an in-house dry aging program, exclusive cuts of coveted Japanese A5 wagyu with an emphasis on wood fired cooking. Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park.     We have been here 4-6 times. As always the food was phenomenal. The service is discrete but attentive. The tomahawk is cooked perfectly. The bone marrow is unbelievable. The salads are tasty and lightly dressed. The potato stack amazing. We tried pig ears tonight: wow. The deserts have different flavors, different textures and colors. Mainly good. And one does not get bored with it

    I treated my husband here for his birthday. We were very impressed and happy with the restaurant. The chef even came up to our table and interacted with us! We enjoyed every morsel, and agreed that it is one of our favorite steakhouses! The restaurant is beautiful and the service was spectacular. The staff anticipated your move at times; it was impressive. Overall, amazing experience!

    10 out of 10, this place was AMAZING! The blended service of ordering items of the menu and Dim sum style with the carts was fantastic. Our server gave up great advise in only ordering a few things from the menu then waiting for the carts to come around. We went here for my wife's birthday and she was so happy we did. We will for sure be back for another special occasion.
