The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. Food was visually appealing and great vibes. Great views and everyone with the dresscode dresses very nice. The “inspection” downstairs before you go up definitely helps enforce it. Feels exclusive. For the prices I would expect a leveling up of the food but it was definitely good. I would say they miss the price v food quality balance by about 10-15% in pricing.

Service was very good, from the waiters to the food runners. Food was delicious. The butternut squash soup with crab was amazing and had a reasonable amount of crab. My cocktail was great and they had an extensive list of options. I had a duck pasta which was amazing. Unfortunately, we didn’t have room for dessert but from what I saw the options looked great. This place is conveniently located with ample parking. We will be back.
