Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. Phenomenal. While the food and ambiance are both wonderful, the service is outstanding! Every team member made my husband and I feel meticulously attended to while we enjoyed his birthday dinner. A birthday card with a handwritten note was a great special touch. Well done Ruxton! It was a pleasure!

I was a bit disappointed. Of course, due to the cool weather we dined indoors. Our view was stacked chairs sitting outside the windows, no ambience to speak of. Service was very good, quick seating and our waiter was patient and efficient. The food was fair to good. Nothing to really rave about. Recommended crab cake was too spicy. Salmon grilled cheese came out with burnt bread. I brought guests from out of the country and must say I did not impress them on this visit.

Great place for intimate dinner or business dinner. Wait staff are attentive without being rude. Food was good. We started with lobster tempura and crab soup, entrees were crab cakes and scallops with shrimp pasta, ended with apple tarts. Everything was delicious
