Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.The Ruxton will serve lunch every weekday and dinner 7 days a week. This is the 3rd time I’ve dined at Ammoora and I was not disappointed. Dining here is an amazing experience from the time you enter the restaurant and are greeted by the hostess. There were three of us and we ordered multiple appetizers, main courses and desserts. The starters included an order of hummus and warm pita bread. I have it’s the best hummus I’ve ever eaten. All the main courses were amazing. The most amazing was the fall of the bone short rib. I had the kofta kebabs I highly recommend. Our server was exceptional. Gigi was very professional and was extremely helpful explaining the menu. If you have a chance and want to try Syrian cuisine, look no further than Ammoora.

The food here was spectacular. Service same. To be fair, I was there for a weekday lunch and they weren’t busy but our server could not have been more competent and pleasant. I’ll be back again and often.

Glad you changed the dress code, more adult. Service was a bit slow receiving the check, but server had too many tables to cover. Otherwise service was good. Had a 7:30 reservation , was not seated until 7:50.

Lots of extra little touches that made the dishes special: the foamy mignonette on the oysters, the crunchy bites and pickled mushrooms on the beef tartare. Pre-pandemic, table side dishes such as classic Caesar salad and duck a la presse were on the menu- we can understand not having them all the time, but hopefully they’re not gone for good.
